Jordan M. Kelso

As an associate at Shapiro, Blasi, Wasserman & Hermann, Jordan M. Kelso focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, products liability and personal injury litigation, construction litigation, and risk management/mitigation.

Mr. Kelso received his Juris Doctor from Temple University, James Beasley School of Law in 2020, where he was on the Dean’s List. He obtained his B.A. in Law, Negotiations & Ethics with Minors in Political Science and Philosophy from Gettysburg College in 2017. He was not only successful in the classroom but was also a decorated member of the Gettysburg College Football Team.

Prior to joining Shapiro, Blasi, Wasserman & Hermann, Mr. Kelso was an associate at a full-service law firm in Philadelphia where he gained litigation experience in a variety of areas, including contracts, sports law, commercial real estate development, aviation, land use, trusts and estates, first amendment, creditors’ rights, employment law and product liability. Combining his legal and sports acumen, he was a founding member of the firm’s sports law practice where he led a team of attorneys providing insights to institutions, coaches, athletes and parents regarding various NCAA requirements and corresponding state laws, especially those associated with the recent change in policy surrounding players’ rights of publicity.

During law school, Mr. Kelso had the opportunity to serve as a judicial intern for the Honorable Freda L. Wolfson, United States District Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Before his career in law, Mr. Kelso was an iron worker, erecting steel buildings in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York since the age of 17. This extremely technical and taxing work not only allowed Mr. Kelso to put himself through his undergraduate and law school studies, but this experience also provided him with a unique, in-depth perspective on the construction process on a range of scales. Mr. Kelso uses this knowledge to drive his construction litigation practice.

In addition to being licensed in Florida, Mr. Kelso previously practiced and is currently licensed in Pennsylvania.
