Sarah H. Lavelanet mainly focuses her practice on transactional matters, including trusts and estates, asset protection planning, and corporate law. She is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida.
Mrs. Lavelanet received her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from St. Thomas University College of Law, where she was valedictorian of her graduating class and received a total of 14 Book Awards for highest class performance. While in law school, Mrs. Lavelanet served on the Editorial Board of the St. Thomas Law Review as Senior Articles Editor, where she was also published. During her final year in law school, she also served as a judicial intern for Florida Supreme Court Justice Jorge Labarga.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mrs. Lavelanet worked as a paralegal for approximately 10 years in the areas of trusts and estates, asset protection planning, and corporate law. This experience provides her with in-depth knowledge and significant exposure to these transactional areas of law.
Mrs. Lavelanet resides in Boca Raton, Florida, with her husband, Michael, and their children.
