Joshua L. Zipper has been practicing complex commercial, business and real estate litigation since 2008. He is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Zipper received his Bachelor Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law.
Mr. Zipper represents corporate and individual clients for both plaintiffs and defendants in an array of disciplines and tribunals. In addition to business and real estate litigation, Mr. Zipper’s focus includes jury trial practice successfully defending consumer protection and RICO class actions, prosecuting fraud and contract disputes, and litigating Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Lanham Act, and Federal Quiet Title Act claims, among various other statutory and regulatory claims. Mr. Zipper has also successfully represented a national truck and bus component part manufacturer in product liability disputes in various states for a number of years; an international consignor of surplus military aircraft parts in a federal jury trial; and Miami nightclubs in false advertisement and discrimination claims, to name a few. Finally, Mr. Zipper has also successfully prosecuted and defended numerous construction defect-related disputes, will contests, community association disputes, insurance contract disputes, and labor and employment claims.
Mr. Zipper has experience trying cases in both state and federal courts before the bench and juries, as well as presenting oral argument before state and federal appellate courts.
