He has served as national, regional, and local counsel in the defense of a wide range of litigation matters.
Mr. Hermann has a proven track record of defending clients against product and negligence claims and in complex commercial disputes involving vertical transportation equipment, fire suppression systems, automobile dealers and distributors, commercial transport, and construction defects. Mr. Hermann has also defended national and regional managed healthcare companies in areas of provider disputes, credentialing, and fraudulent insurance claim submissions.
Whether representing a Fortune 50 company or a local business, Mr. Hermann’s ability to bring simplicity to chaos and present those arguments to a judge, jury, or opposing counsel in a format that everyone can understand remains the most critical part of his successful practice. Prior to joining Shapiro Blasi Wasserman & Hermann, Mr. Hermann was a partner with Sedgwick LLP. He was previously a partner at Heinrich Gordon Weihe & James LLP, and prior to that he was General Counsel for a Fortune 500 company.
