Joseph Landolfi recently spoke with the Daily Business Review regarding the latest trend in estate planning. With uncertainty surrounding the upcoming presidential election, many wealthy individuals are now looking to take advantage of the lifetime gift tax exemption under existing tax law.
According to Joseph, “The concern that clients have and we as practitioners have is that currently, there is the ability to transfer wealth and assets gift tax-free utilizing the current lifetime exemption amount. If there is a change in the tax laws that reduce this amount, clients will no longer have the ability to utilize what was once available.”
