Jeffrey Wasserman Receives IACP Heart of Service Award

Shapiro, Blasi, Wasserman & Hermann is proud to congratulate Jeffrey P. Wasserman, Of Counsel to the firm’s Family Law Group, on being named a 2026 recipient of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals’ (IACP) Heart of Service Award.
The award recognizes IACP members who have demonstrated extraordinary and unselfish service to the Collaborative community. Created in 2024, the Heart of Service Award celebrates professionals who give their time, knowledge and leadership to support others and help strengthen Collaborative Practice.
Mr. Wasserman has long been an advocate for the Collaborative Law Process, both in South Florida and beyond. An Accredited Collaborative Professional, he has spent years training and mentoring other professionals, speaking and writing on Collaborative Law, and serving in leadership and committee roles with Collaborative organizations. His work has focused on helping families resolve disputes outside of the courtroom and advancing Collaborative Practice as an alternative approach to traditional family law litigation.
Mr. Wasserman is one of four professionals selected for the 2026 honor, along with David Hoffman, Zanita Zacks-Gabriel and Christopher Farish.
The recipients will be recognized during IACP’s Forum 2026 in Vancouver on October 31 as part of the plenary program, “Together, We Rise: Celebrating 25 Years of IACP.”
