Shapiro, Blasi, Wasserman & Hermann is pleased to announce that seasoned litigator Bradley Pepper has joined the firm as a Partner.

Mr. Pepper focuses on complex commercial litigation matters, general and premise liability, first party property damage disputes, and catastrophic personal injury cases. He spent more than a decade managing his own firm, gaining invaluable experience handling all facets of litigation. This experience also includes several high stakes matters that received nationally publicized attention.

A graduate of Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Pepper is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida as well as the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. For four consecutive years, he was named to the Florida Super Lawyers Rising Stars list, which recognizes the top 2.5% of lawyers in the State of Florida under the age of 40. He has also been recognized as a “Top Up and Comer” in Florida Trend magazine’s Legal Elite.

ADA Public Access Claims and Compliance: Shareholder Adam S. Chotiner oversees the firm’s ADA Public Access Claims and Compliance practice group.

This group’s practice is focused on litigation and compliance under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (the “ADA”). Over the past 20+ years, there has been an explosion in the number of ADA Title III lawsuits being filed, particularly in Florida. Such ADA lawsuits often allege the existence of “physical barriers,” such as inaccessible restrooms or parking lots. Over the past few years the scope of ADA lawsuits has expanded to allegations that a business’ website is inaccessible to visually-impaired individuals or is otherwise non-compliant.
